A Tale of Two Package Managers by Aaron Pena
At NI we've been working hard on some changes to NIPM and LabVIEW NXG to support add-ons that are forward compatible (aka you don't have to rebuild for every new version of LabVIEW NXG) and allow individual projects to define its own add-ons (aka different projects can use different versions of the same add-on). Come get a sneak peak at the solution we're pursuing, provide feedback, and see how this may work its way into other products (cough::LabVIEW::cough)!
