NI-MXDF Error Code Family
Below are all of the Error Codes that belong to the NI-MXDF Error Code Family (see Error List for list of Families).

| -88721 | An internal error occurred. |
| -88720 | Specified device name is not valid, because it contains spaces or punctuation other than hyphens or underscores. |
| -88719 | Specified device name is not valid, because it contains non-printable characters. |
| -88718 | Specified device name is not valid, because it is an empty string. |
| -88717 | No device by the given name was found. |
| -88716 | The requested operation failed because the versions of a driver installed on the local and the remote system are different.
Update the driver so the versions on the two systems are the same. |
| -88715 | Device name specified conflicts with an existing device name. |
| -88714 | An internal error occurred. |
| -88713 | An internal error occurred. |
| -88712 | An internal error occurred. |
| -88711 | An internal error occurred. |
| -88710 | The specified operation cannot be performed because a task is in the process of being aborted or a device is in the process of being removed from the system. Wait until the abort operation is complete and attempt to perform the operation again. |
| -88709 | The specified operation cannot be performed because a task has been aborted or a device has been removed from the system. Handle this situation as required by the application and then, if appropriate, attempt to perform the operation again. |
| -88708 | The specified resource is not available. The operation could not be completed as specified. |
| -88707 | An internal error occurred. |
| -88706 | An internal error occurred. |
| -88705 | The specified device is not present or is not active in the system. The device may not be installed on this system, may have been unplugged, or may not be installed correctly. |
| -88704 | An internal error occurred. |
| -88703 | An internal error occurred. |
| -88702 | An internal error occurred. |
| -88701 | An internal error occurred. |
| -88700 | An internal error occurred. |
