The Is or Contains Type Definition function returns TRUE if the data type stored in Variant is an instance of a type definition or contains a data type which is an instance of a type definition.
Note: To determine whether the data type stored in Variant is an instance of a type definition, you also can use the Get Type Information VI and wire an indicator to Type Definition.
