Connecting Applications by Casey Lamers
Applications are increasingly composed of many smaller applications that need to work together. I will discuss connecting multiple application using TCP/IP with JSON as a messaging interface and using PostgreSQL as a Database interface. These interfaces are not language specific and can allow for integration with customers, other (non-LabVIEW) groups within your organization, with consultants, etc. We have used these interface methods to build a much more flexible system at Phoenix, LLC.
