Professional LabVIEW developers know the pain of badly managed dependencies, and we have many tools and workflows for addressing this problem. With a couple package managers and Git as our entry point, Composed Systems set about writing a multi-tiered stack of modular software--but as the complexity of our software grew, we found the excruciating limits of our existing tools. Ethan Stern and Steve Ball will describe code-sharing challenges faced by Composed Systems and their customers, current Git-based solutions to managing packages across projects, and progress toward better package management for all.
