LabVIEW configuration file/Performance

This is a list of LabVIEW ini File settings relating to Performance.

anxiousMemoryDeallocation

Example: anxiousMemoryDeallocation=TRUE
Short Description: Force LabVIEW to deallocate memory agressively
Datatype: Booelan
Permitted Values: TRUE or FALSE
Default Value: FALSE
LabVIEW Versions: 7.1, 8.x
OS's Supported:
Notes: None.

checkAvailDiskSpace

Example: checkAvailDiskSpace=TRUE
Short Description: Check the available disk space on the hard drive that LabVIEW is installed on during launch. Warn the user if the available space is less than warnMIN and/or abortMIN.
Datatype: Booelan
Permitted Values: TRUE or FALSE
Default Value: TRUE
LabVIEW Versions: 5.1, 6.1, 7.1, 8.x
OS's Supported:
Notes: None.

abortMIN

Example: abortMIN=250
Short Description: Abort LabVIEW launch process if available disk space on the drive LabVIEW is launched from is below this many kB.
Datatype: Integer
Permitted Values: 1 to <math>2^32</math>
Default Value: 500
LabVIEW Versions: 5.1, 6.1, 7.1, 8.x
OS's Supported:
Notes: This setting only takes effect if checkAvailDiskSpace is set to TRUE.

warnMIN

Example: warnMIN=1250
Short Description: Warn the user on LabVIEW launch if available disk space on the drive LabVIEW is launched from is below this many kB.
Datatype: Integer
Permitted Values: 1 to <math>2^32</math>
Default Value: 2000
LabVIEW Versions: 5.1, 6.1, 7.1, 8.x
OS's Supported:
Notes: This setting only takes effect if checkAvailDiskSpace is set to TRUE.
