NI-P2P Error Code Family: Difference between revisions

Below are all of the Error Codes that belong to the NI-P2P Error Code Family (see Error List for list of Families).

Code	Description
-308032	The data types of the two endpoints are incompatible.
-308031	Internal Error: A software fault has occurred in the NI-P2P component. Please contact National Instruments for support.
-308030	The endpoints cannot be linked because a physical communication path does not exist between them. This can be caused by certain bus routing topologies within some systems that do not offer streaming capabilities between particular slots. Please ensure that your devices are inserted into slots that support peer-to-peer streaming.
-308029	Internal Error: This event is not registered. You must register this event before it can be used. Please contact National Instruments for support.
-308028	Internal Error: This event type is not supported. Please contact National Instruments for support.
-308027	The two endpoints are both on a device which does not support linking two of it's endpoints together.
-308026	The requested attribute is not settable.
-308025	The requested stream operation could not complete because the stream session was closed.
-308024	The stream operation timed out.
-308023	The requested stream event is invalid.
-308022	The endpoints are currently configured to use different data types. Please modify each endpoint to use the same data type before linking them together into a stream.
-308021	The provided endpoint handle is invalid.
-308020	The version of the internal interface exposed by one or more of the endpoints is not supported. Please ensure that you are using the latest driver software version for each of your endpoint devices. If you continue to experience this problem, please contact National Instruments for support.
-308019	The endpoints in this stream are not compatible with each other. This typically occurs when there are sufficient differences in the communication protocol for each endpoint such that communication between them is not possible.
-308018	The requested attribute is invalid.
-308017	The requested attribute type is invalid.
-308016	The provided stream session handle is invalid.
-308015	The stream is not currently enabled. The stream must be enabled to complete this operation.
-308014	Internal Error: At least one of the endpoints is not capable of participating in the created stream. Please contact National Instruments for support.
-308013	Internal Error: The endpoint interface is invalid. Please contact National Instruments for support.
-308012	The stream is not currently in the linked state. The stream must be linked in order to complete this operation.
-308011	Internal Error: The internal stream resource was not found. Please contact National Instruments for support.
-308010	Internal Error: The device resource already exists. Please contact National Instruments for support.
-308009	The peer-to-peer stream does not exist. You may have destroyed the stream or a device session associated with the stream. Ensure the stream and associated sessions are open before you attempt to use the stream.
-308008	The two endpoints are equivalent and therefore cannot be linked into a stream.
-308007	Internal Error: The requested endpoint resource was not found. Please contact National Instruments for support.
-308006	Internal Error: The endpoint resource already exists. Please contact National Instruments for support.
-308005	Some resources needed by this stream operation are currently in use. Please relinquish these resources before attempting to perform this operation again.
-308004	The operation received an invalid data pointer value.
-308003	Internal Error: The requested device was not found. Please contact National Instruments for support.
-308002	Internal Error: The I/O operation failed. Please contact National Instruments for support.
-308001	The requested operation is not supported.
-308000	System memory is full. The operation could not allocate enough memory to complete successfully.
308000	The sign of the two endpoint data types is different. Data may be interpreted incorrectly on one of the endpoints.
