Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX) is a tool to manage various NI components. One use is to configure a GPIB interface and then find instruments on the GPIB bus.
MAX can manage:
- Interchangeable Virtual Instruments (IVIs)
- Instrument interface controllers (e.g., GPIB)
- Instrument connections (VISA, Ethernet, VXI)
